  Took my car in concerned because it was souding far too loud. Was told nothing wrong its just a diesel engine. 3 days later the engine dropped out of the car while my partner was driving, just about to go up the freeway. Automasters qouted me $9800 to fix damage and $240 for time it took to qoute. Got the car fixed for $565 from my usual mechanic.......

  IF I COULD GIVE THESE PEOPLE LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD!!! I had no alternative but to have my car towed to these people and was quoted nearly $6000 for repairs to get it back on the road. I was horrified! As a woman, I couldn't believe how it could cost me so much! The owner of the franchise ran off a spiel about trusting him, and that he wasn't the kind of mechanic who would take advantage of women as others do in his line of work. In expressing how distressed I was at the enormous quote, TEARS welling in my eyes!!!! he said he would "help me out" by offering me $200 for my car because it "was not worth spending money on" ... he said he'd do me "a favour" because "one of his boys might wanna take if off my hands, to fix it up as a hobby and learn from". He told me to "live and learn" and not buy another imported vehicle. The car cost me $13,500 barely 3 years ago! I ended up having the car towed to Wright Street Mechanical in the city. The mechanic was gob-smacked at the quote and said that there was NOTHING wrong with my car, other than the fact that it needed a new radiator!!!!! ... WHICH, the guy from Auto Masters had told me had "corroded". Funny thing was ... the radiator was PLASTIC!!! I was forced to pay Auto Masters $80 for them to SUPPOSEDLY look it over. They couldn't have looked too far if they thought a PLASTIC RADIATOR WAS CORRODED!!! Despicable! My car is a sporty little Japanese import. Highly desirable and a real eye turner. I felt incredibly conned and out of pocket! If I didn't have the sense to get a second opinion, I would have sold my beautiful car for $200! These people are truly despicable!!! THIEVES AND LIARS! If you look at their website, they claim to have 4.5 stars out of 5 for what is obviously bogus reviews! Ugh! I feel sick to my stomach when I remember what they tried to do to me! If you read this, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!! People work hard for their money and come to you in the hope of establishing TRUST! Heaven knows how much money you have made from poor, unsuspecting customers by deceiving them and charging them for repairs that were probably not even necessary!!! DESPICABLE! You may profit from the ignorance of your customers, but your face will never smile by stealing and conning people!
